Roots and Wisdom offers a fun, unique summer employment
opportunity for Schenectady County youth.
If you're willing and able to work hard, get dirty,
and meet other county youth, this may be what you are looking for.
We tend our vegetables; learn about food systems,
diversity, and leadership; sell vegetables at a farmers' market;
and get to know ourselves and our neighbors better.
Roots and Wisdom hires college-aged crew leaders to work with youth during the
Summer Growing Program. To learn more about this fun and challenging leadership
