Roots and Wisdom is pleased to once again offer
a unique vegetable buying opportunity for the 2008 growing season
 – HARVEST SHARE.

Harvest Share is a 20 week partnership program (starting in late May and continuing through mid-October) bringing together consumers and a local farm initiative. Each Monday a list of farm-ripened vegetables is distributed by email to program participants. Participants respond with their selections for the week. Produce is harvested on Thursday morning, and is available for pickup at the Fehr Avenue Neighborhood Garden from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Benefits of the program:
  • Variety of produce --- enjoy the bounty of the garden including eggplant, zucchini, peppers of all sorts, tomatoes, carrots, beans, onions, potatoes, lettuces, chard, cucumbers, herbs, garden bouquets, and much more.
  • Local high quality seasonal vegetables --- all of the produce will be freshly harvested. Roots and Wisdom grows organically without chemicals.
  • Flexibility of purchase --- buy just what you need for your family or weekend gathering; if you are on vacation, we will look forward to seeing you upon your return.
  • Support youth development and community service --- all proceeds from Harvest Share directly support Roots and Wisdom’s work.
