Volunteer Opportunities
Roots and Wisdom's work would not be possible without the dozens of volunteers that care about our community and commit to working towards meaningful change by sharing their time and talents with us.
Roots and Wisdom offers exciting volunteer opportunities for teens, adults and community groups at our urban garden sites.

No previous experience with farming is required.
Volunteer today!

Youth Volunteer Opportunities
Youth will learn first-hand about growing and marketing vegetables in our community, and be a part of a national movement to promote eating locally grown produce! Roots and Wisdom youth volunteers will also get a terrific experience of working in the garden and at the Farmer’s Market.
Come help us prepare beds, make new friends, and build connections in the community.
